Steps to create and populate this temporary table are: 1- create the temporary table 2- populate the temporary table using "insert ... select ..." statement 3- update data in temporary table, one row by one row. Third steps is the one that may cause poor performance (due to SQL code doing a loop and simulating what could be done using cursors). The INSERT statement into temporary table "#rs_repinfo" could be improved in order to avoid doing step 3.
