If this descriptor needs to be reused, ASE will flush its systabstats statistics on disk first before reusing it for another object. Workaround Description  Boot ASE with traceflag 3632 that turns off stats flushing performed by the chores housekeeper.

The LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable can be used instead, however, it is recommended that all license files (including files that point to license servers) are placed in the $SYBASE/SYSAM-2_0/licenses directory, rather than ASE relying on a specific runtime environment to obtain it's licenses.
