考虑到Sybase数据库的初学者或者没有购买原厂服务的Sybase客户情况，现提供SAP ASE/IQ/RS/SDK/SQL Anywhere/PB等产品的BUG信息。
在SAP Support Portal网站或者google上搜索Targeted CR List for ASE，可以看到针对不同版本的CR（CR表示Change Request）简单描述信息列表。
需要注意的是：Targeted CR List for ASE列出的CR虽然绝大多数是BUG，但有一些是更改需求。
以下提供SAP ASE/IQ/RS/SDK/SQL Anywhere/PB等产品的BUG信息！
不仅仅包括BUG的详细描述信息，还包括首次报告BUG的平台、数据库版本以及BUG修复历史过程；有些BUG还提供了Workaround来临时解决该BUG带来问题。

401954	New feature request to set a maximum wait time limit to SHUTDOWN. The new syntax is SHUTDOWN [WITH WAIT [ = "xx:xx:xx" ] \| WITH NOWAIT ]
401988	Syconfig and other client applications will not able to connect to the Adaptive Server if it was booted with named pipe.
402002	The message 'Legal optimizer criteria must be INT' is printed when running some 'SET' commands.
402029	When performing a post error cleanup ASE may enter in the infinite loop trying to allocate memory. Very long stack trace will show multiple occurances of following sequence of calls : {s_handle,s_cleanframe,s_copytmps,memcreate,ex_raise}
402044	Incorect value may be assignment to the local variable if the query is executed in the parallel and the query has a scalar aggregate. This problem may happen if the showplan output shows multiple query steps with "Parallel result buffer merge" execution strategy.
402075	When upgrading to 15.0 from 12.5.x, if the configured 'procedure cache size' is the default, upgrade may fail due to Error 701. To work around this, ensure that the procedure cache size is at least 12000.
402082	On the HP platform HTTPS (SSL) is not available for ASE WebServices. The HTTP transport is not affected, however. 阅读全文...

343120	'number of dumps' counter of CSMD increments even if memdump is failed
343252	Querying the monCachedObject table can cause other processes to timeslice. When this occurs the query will take much longer to execute and the ASE errorlog will contain the error "timeslice -<value>, current process infected" followed by a stacktrace.
343260	If an @variable is buried in a nested derived table, it may lead to stack trace.
343360	CIS: Local server may show stack trace when errors are encountered on sp_remotesql or sp_passthru in a multi-session environment in which some of the sessions may hang in 'remote i/o'.
343363	With ASE 12.5.2 ASEPlugin, the plugin parsing of template documents, JS Template schema and instance documents have been modified. The JS Template XML instance documents must be re-installed if users are upgrading from the ASE 12.5.1 ASEPlugin. If users do not upgrade their ASEPlugin, the latest JS Template instance documents should not be upgraded. The changes were required to support localization for the Job Scheduler interface within the ASEPlugin.
343446	Query using non intialized bit local variable may fail with error 245: "Domain error during implicit conversion of BIT value '0' to a BIT field."
343448	INSTRUMENTATION: Network listeners disappear without error on ASE 12.5.1 running on win2000 adv server
343495	A 12536 message "Sysstatistics upgrade warning for table <table>. New row-length after upgrade, 1965, ... exceeds maximum limit of 1964. Run update statistics on this table after upgrade." may be reported in rare circumstances during an upgrade from a pre 12.5 server. 阅读全文...

279309	Using BCP with packetsize larger than 32767 may fail on ASE running on the windows NT, Linux and Dec Alpha platforms.
279344	ASE Replicator: Sporadically, text/image replication fails when running for a long time.
279406	A 551 error or the message "current process infected with 11" is reported in the error log together with a stack trace when a row is inserted into a table that has a rule which references a constant value which is outside the range of the column datatype.
279474	Check constraint expression shows name of the constraint along with the defination. This happens only when user changes the constraint name in the property page and applies the changes.
279520	When a connection is terminated while running Java, the message "Java services are temporarily unavailable while the Java system is being recycled" is reported in the error log and all other Java operations may be terminated so that no further Java operations can be performed. All subsequent attempts to use Java in ASE are rejected with a 10734 error.
279558	CIS : Performance slows down when there are many idle CIS connections within ASE.
279568	The message "current process infected with 11" together with stack trace which includes the module 'jvmh_mem_p_sema' will be reported in the error log if a reference is made to a Java class before recovery has completed.
279595	If the source ASE has large free spaces in the logical devices and runs Migration Tool in "setup" session, Migration Tool will throw the IndexOutOfBoundsException error in "CALC_DEVICE_SIZE" thread.
279606	ASE 12.0 used to send back the actual table name in the row format information when responding to PowerBuilder. Now with ASE 12.5 the view name is sent back in the row format information instead of the actual table name and this causes PowerBuilder to try an update against the view instead of the actual table.
279616	ASE Replicator: During initial setup, an instance directory is created and RUNinstance scripts are generated. On Unix, the RUNinstance script also has its permissions changed to include execute permission. If there is a problem setting the permissions, an uninformative error message is returned, and the sp_helpddb.sql script does not get generated which causes problems later on. Now, the sp_helpddb.sql script is generated first, and, if there is any problem setting permission on the RUNinstance script, a warning is logged in the system.log, but setup completes successfully. The user will have to manually set the proper execute permissions on the RUNinstance script.
